Tomoe “Beasty” Carr
Born in New York, Tomoe grew up in Japan for 10 years. She started her dance training in Japan at Next Generation Dance STudios, and she is the first graduate of KiNEXtionS™ from NXGN Studios Japan. She has also danced behind artists such as Alicia Keys, Swaelee, Jidenna, Freddie Gibbs and in the past 10 years she has even made an impact in the street style battle scene. In 2021, winning Red Bull Dance Ya Style Boston, Jacob’s Pillow, Ladies of Hip Hop Festival and Step Ya Game Up in 2022. Since 2021, she has been traveling the country not only to battle, but to do commercial work and to obtain new information from various dancers and engage in different cultures. In 2023, she stepped into the World of Yoga and received her teacher training certificate in Bali. She is thriving to become a helpful advocate for the dance community and the non dance community in hopes of bringing more awareness to the industry.
